Hungry valley visitors at Fashion island, with surprisingly limited food options besides a whack-ass food court, this area was highly rated so said, WTF not? After a long beach day, was hungry for a Linner, or a Dunch, at 5pm (Lunch-Dinner). Seated right away (bonus) outside, Melissa served us well. Had a very good, actually in house made lemonade, was sweet and good. Ordered fried chicken and the burger, both were borderline outstanding. Fries need some work; they were a little cold and limp. Not enough to avoid, but imagine McDonalds 2024, not 1984 fries, there u go. In all very pleased and overstuffed as the portions (especially the chick sando) was rather large.

Great Maple gets mostly a lunch/brunch crowd at Fashion Island, but we were happy to give their all day menu a shot for dinner one night. Breakfast all day is always a hit with our kids, plus my wife too :) Lunch or dinner has to start with their portobello fries. The kids enjoyed their french toast logs and pancake pops. The grilled ribeye melt was good, not great. I think I'll try the hot honey chicken sandwich on the next visit.

This place did not disappoint. Our server was just OK, seemed very disengaged when we asked about recommendations and specific entrees and rarely checked back after runner dropped off good. Would ideally knock down 2 stars for service but since the food was amazing. The Bloody Mary was just OK. The blood Orange Margarita was great. Moroccan mint iced tea is delicious recommend the chicken honey sandwich and rib eye melt as well.

Haiku: Great Maple Donuts and chicken A great family-friendly place Generous portions. --- There's a lot of hype around Great Maple and I'm so glad it's true. This family-friendly place is at the top of my list. My kid is a picky eater, so it made my heart sing to see that she ate and enjoyed her French Toast Log (from the kids menu). It came with fresh fruit, whipped butter, and scrambled eggs. The kids menu (came with crayons) was interactive with crossword puzzles, tic tac toe, and i-spy images. They even brought out a gorgeously printed plastic cup and straw for water. We ordered the Fried Chicken & Doughnuts and, boy, was it a sight to see. There were two decadent bacon maple-glazed doughnuts and two hearty fried chicken, which were crispy, juicy & flavorful. We also enjoyed the Thick Cut Smoked Bacon. I'd skip the Ribeye Hash though. The price may be on the higher end, but you have to consider the taste, service, and ambiance. I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. Service is beyond friendly and accommodating. Tip: Use OpenTable to make reservations.

One of our favorite brunch spots. We've been here a handful of times and learned early on their portions are pretty large and will lead to food coma! Now we go and share the fried chicken and doughnuts ! It's delicious ! They have a really good espresso martini too and their portobello mushroom fries are a must! Also another great dog friend spot - great patio seating for people watching. Service has always been excellent every time I've been here..

My Great Maple in Newport Beach offers a delightful dining experience that is perfectly complemented by the region's stunning weather. I ordered the Lemon Shrimp Pasta and it was delicious. Lots of shrimp in a buttery, cheesy, zesty sauce. Perfect!

Their fried chicken and doughnuts is SO good. Perfect amount of sweetness from donuts and saltiness from chicken and eating both together was chef kiss. I would get this again. Overall this is a solid brunch spot with easy parking. Came at night and it's great for group hangouts or date nights. Good service too.

Like the namesake tree, the sweetest part of this restaurant is brought out with care and experience, which is how I describe everything about it. The menu, the cooking, and the cocktails. Everything is made with care and experience. First of all, we were late for our reservation, but Caroline graciously accommodated us anyway. After a short wait, we were whisked to our table, where we were greeted by a smile, ice water, and a delcious blood orange margarita. The food is what you expect from an experienced brunch menu... Delcious, sweet and savory. The chicken and donuts embodies all three. It is a must try. The ribeye melt, another of their signature dishes, is so tender and juicy it will have you licking your fingers. The vibes are energetic and modern. Try it and book a reservation... This place is very popular with the locals. You will not not be disappointed.

I am obsessed with Great Maple! From the interior design, beautiful bar, and the spacious patio, this place has something for everyone. I will start by saying I am so sorry that I do not recall our server's name. She was fantastic. She wrote nothing down and got everything right. That is always shocking to me! I've eaten at Great Maple a few times, and all their food is consistently good. This time we ordered the Portobello Mushroom Fries to start and they were delicious. I love the aioli dipping sauce. For lunch we got a Cobb Wedge and the BLT with fries. So yummy all around! The restaurant has a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I love when I see a mocktail section! And, to add, their patio is dog friendly and they even have a puppy menu! A+ no complaints and I can't wait to go back!

Still killin' it! Great Maple is one of my top 10 favorite places to eat. The food is excellent and the service is impressive. You can't go wrong at Great Maple. Just make sure you have a reservation! They get crowded and walk-in's usually have to wait an hour or more. They offer patio seating and indoor seating. Very comfortable dining experience. We have done both; indoor and outdoor experience. Both were pleasant. The macaroni and cheese is a highlight! It is one of the best Mac and cheeses we have ever had. Seriously, it's that good. 10/10 Those truffle fries keep us coming back. We love how the fries are seasoned perfectly. Nice Parmesan flavor. Very good appetizer. 10/10 My fiancé loves the eggs Benedict. That's his favorite, he gets it every time. 10/10 And don't get me started on the beignets!!!!!! Those are fluffy clouds or powder! I love them and want them all. Dipped in the lemon sauce and it is perfection! 10/10
